Would be difficult to tell the manufacturer from a picture especially not close up. If I had to make a strong guess, I would think it looks like a GAF Timberline "Natural Shadow" shingle in the Weathered Wood color. GAF has several lifetime warranted shingles in the Timberline series but the two most common are Natural Shadow and HD. The one major difference in these two lines is the color variance. While both use the same exact granule colors, the HD (high definition) will have a more pronounced color variance this creating a more busy looking roof appearance. Both carry a 130 mph wind warranty when installed with 6 nails per tab. Hope that helps.

Your second photo brings me right to the stairwell scene in Hitchcock's "Vertigo," although I realize I'm looking up, not down. It's really rather wonderful. I'm just wondering, looking to the upper left in particular, if it's been recently checked out by a structural engineer. As for paint, I'll be interested to see what others say. For me, who doesn't do a lot of white, I think I actually would stay with a white here. A muddy green might be nice as well, but you'd need to incorporate a bit of lighting -- perhaps uplighting along the beams unseen from below, with something amazing hanging from that cool, crazy peak you have. Hi Houzz members, I'd like to get some ideas on how I would be able to make my small apartment look bigger. I live in Singapore, space is a precious commodity here, and many people live in high rise buildings which are quite small in area (not as bad as Hong Kong though). My friends suggested to use light colours for the house and also mirrors, what do you all think? I'm also going to get some furniture from IKEA http://www.ikea.com/sg/en/, any ideas on space saving furniture? Thank you!

I would definitely consider an off white colour as this will be a safe, and probably more attractive option with the colours your stated on your bed. However the sheen may not go well with the green and white laminate, if the chandelier go well with the decor of the room then I think going for a sheen finish could easily finish off the room! However if not it could really make your room have two contrasting style schemes. Off white would also look good, but if you like a bit a glam, then a sheen finish is a fantastic option! What other stuff do you have in your room? Is it possible to upload a picture as many 'minds' can make light work lol. We cannot really comment on adding things to brighten it up but I am sure there are designers on Houzz that can help. :)

work out the wall space you want to cover, measure this on the floor. then start laying out our design within the space on the floor to create your design. There has to be lines running through the collage so there is a method to the madness- we don't want a messy looking arrangement, there must be a flow. You can line up the matts with outside edge of other frames etc. Layout all of your pics on the floor and mix up the frame styles and sizes amongst your layout. Take photos of your layout and then start hanging. My tip is don't start hanging until you have your plan 100% !!! lots of neck stretches too! i recently put together this collage and need a neck massage afterwards ;-)
