hi anyone has recommendation how to design a large feature wall to make it look outstanding yet ever lasting?

do u hv any recommendation besides wallpaper? they doesnt like wallpaper..any 3D items?

Hi Rachel, This is quite easy to fix. Firstly I would brighten the space up with a white paint such as Nippon Violet Whispers (warm white), this will give you a good base to work from. Then I would replace your table with one that is larger. This table is too small to be useful and is making your entrance feel small. I recommend using teak and keeping this console table simple in design. On the wall I would place artwork - the bigger the better as this will make a dramatic statement. Then add some lighting (table lamp on console table) and decorative items and voila your entrance will be instantly chic! I have mocked up two options for you - one is based on blues, the other pinks, so depending on your preference you can go either way. Need door ideas for kitchen entrance!

Depend on what you prefer. Do you want to "hide" the kitchen when you have guest or dun want to aircon the kitchen area when you switch on your airconditioning in the living room? Because you have a L-shape ledge near the door, I think the best option would be sliding door, either glass or wood type. If you are into country, then a barn door design may be good too.

Hi joyce_jj_chen, lovely home! Sharing my 2 cents: I think you've got a great living/dining space with lots of potential. The sofas can be moved closer to the TV to make space for dining. While not exactly a matching for your floor plan, this is a possible inspiration: Given the ample amount of reflective materials in your space (floors, mirrors), I'd go for some soft or matte textured furnishings or to balance things out and give the entire space coziness and warmth. Possible inspirations: Here it's the curtains that diffuse light that comes into the apartment, matte dark walls absorb and soften light, while greenery lifts the entire space. The example you've suggested is lovely, all the more so because of a contrast between matte (cabinetry, kitchen island) and shiny (fixtures, kitchen island countertop) and of course lovely warm lighting overhead. (consider using warm lighting instead of cool white?) For dramatic effect, or simply to add more warmth, a large rug is a good idea too: Hope this helps, I'm sure other will have great ideas too.

Yes the pillar looks nice with beige/soft eg. off white, cream, sandy colour walls definately look better. Adding a dim spot light around cornice brings out the room to more luxurious look. Change the window to wide grills in white and definately cream colour curtains. Good to go
