ADANA @ Thomson
Singapore is richly endowed with a vibrant and diverse range of indigenous shrubs, trees and creepers that attract a matching diversity of animals. The onus on our generation is to regenerate local ecosystems by designing living environments that are not only colourful and sustainable but also healthy and efficient.
The key theme of our design is not a single, simple ‘iconic’ feature but rather an integrated ecosystem that places humans into a wider world without compromising all the accouterments of modern living.
We envision a ‘distinctive, but not new’ landscape that will tell local stories about local ecosystems that are sustainable across the generations.
Award Obtained:
'Outstanding' Landscape Excellence Assessment Framework (LEAF) Award 2014
