Updating and adding drama to a vintage powder room with existing Sherle Wagner fluted porcelain pedestal sink featuring Asian floral motif required a unique approach to color. Walls were glazed in multiple layers of silver and pewter metallic paints to spotlight the existing basin. Simple, contemporary window treatments, a few oxblood red accessories and a single white phalaenopsis orchid reference the exoticism and Asian minimalism.
