Our clients had a potentially fabulous garden designed by landscape architects Del Buono Gazerwitz. Unfortunately there were significant problems with water ingress into the property where the garden was located above the swimming pool and Landscape works had not been completed. Bartholomew landscaping’s team of project managers and skilled craftsmen carefully lifted all of the roof garden to enable the fibre glassing team to apply their finishes. The paving and planting was then carefully reinstated to the highest possible standard. The water feature, walls, stairs and paving to the lightwell were also totally refurbished.

This is a stunning lap pool and cascading water feature paired with a featured alfresco area in semi-rural Perth. This property incorporates plenty of pasture for horses, and a backdrop of bush against an azure sky. The area can get very hot in the summer so the design maximises the shade available in the outdoor living area and by the pool. Because it is a large two-acre property, the pool needed to look even larger. To create this expansive look, an infinity edge was an ideal finish to the pool having the effect of water flowing endlessly into a catchment area. The safety fencing enhances the magic of the highlights and diversity of colours.

Infinite pool

The swimming pool construction was part of a large scale project that included the total transformation of the backyard. The clients requested a pool and spa that would integrate aesthetically with the architecturally designed home and serve as the focal point for the tiered backyard. They also wanted a large pool, but with enough room left over for an outdoor kitchen with adjacent entertaining area, a half basketball court and a putting green. The large pool and spa were carefully positioned to allow plenty of leftover space for the rest of the items on the clients’ wish-list.
