Tassellata alla parete su un lato e sospeso tramite cavi d’acciaio che si agganciano alla trave diagonale del tetto, la scrivania artigianale in legno massello a spigoli vivi, fruibile su due lati, si integra naturalmente con il contesto della stanza. All’occorrenza, tramite un sistema di cerniere alla parete, potrebbe essere ripiegata in verticale, liberando completamente lo spazio.

Qanat

Rénovation partielle d’une maison du XIXè siècle, dont les combles existants n’étaient initialement accessibles que par une échelle escamotable. Afin de créer un espace nuit et bureau supplémentaire dans cette bâtisse familiale, l’ensemble du niveau R+2 a été démoli afin d’être reconstruit sur des bases structurelles saines, intégrant un escalier central esthétique et fonctionnel, véritable pièce maitresse de la maison dotée de nombreux rangements sur mesure. La salle d’eau et les sanitaires du premier étage ont été entièrement repensés et rénovés, alliant zelliges traditionnels colorés et naturels. Entre inspirations méditerranéennes et contemporaines, le projet Cavaré est le fruit de plusieurs mois de travail afin de conserver le charme existant de la demeure, tout en y apportant confort et modernité.

In the heart of the residential district of Kensington, our London team recently delivered a major project: the total renovation of a 270m² Victorian house, designed by architect Manon Laham of studio Des Sources. As with most of our London projects, this typical house was considerably lacking in light. Our team intervened on the garden facade to create an extension to enlarge the kitchen area, as well as an elevation with a green roof opening onto the living room. 4 levels entirely dedicated to a couple and their two sons: a first floor comprising a double living room opening onto a planted terrace, a first floor almost entirely dedicated to the kitchen and dining area, including a guest bedroom with en-suite shower room and WC, a second floor entirely dedicated to the master suite and its palatial bathroom, and a last level with two teenage bedrooms and their private bathrooms. Everything has been completely rethought and renovated in a typical Victorian spirit, blending old-world charm with modernity.
