Silver Spring, Maryland Addition
The carport was enclosed to make room for a new family room. The front entrance was moved from inside the carport to the front of the home making for more visibility from the street. A new custom stained glass panel door and matching side light create an inviting new entrance to the home with arts & craft style light sconces on either side of the door lighting the way. Metal roofing was used instead of traditional shingles to attach solar panels. The existing fireplace chimney was cut down and a direct vent fireplace was installed in the new master bedroom.
