Our clients were seeking a retreat from city life at beautiful St Arnaud in Nelson Lakes National Park. The bach is nestled amongst the regenerating manuka forest, surrounded by mountain ranges.
Simple, natural materials and use of the stunning site create special places throughout, yet it retains the classic bach feel.
The living areas are elevated to maximise views. The bach has honest spaces in an open plan living area, mezzanine and a garage that converts into a spare bedroom.
