    “Mike was able to design us the kitchen we wanted and was very easy to work with. He asks for needs and wants and quickly implements the ideas into the plan with an excellent turnaround time. His services are professional, friendly and without pressure. His goal was to design us the best use of space. He was able to introduce us to our eventual builder and worked well with the entire subcontracted team.”

Denise Clearwood has a very consultative approach, makes smart functional space recommendations and has a fantastic design style. She is good at debating the pros and cons of options and trouble-shooting problems. We have never had any issues and are always happy with the finished result.”

    “We have done two homes with Mark. We have really enjoyed the process and couldn't be more pleased with the finished product. His firm was fun to work with and very accommodating to our needs. Lots of details we would never of thought of on our own without their insight. We would chose them again in a minute.”

    “We built a new home with the design help of John Melby. He was terrific! He had a lot of great ideas that others had not thought of, kept our construction budget constraints in mind throughout the process, and was extremely fast and responsive. John was able to listen to our ideas and “get on the same page” almost instantly, staying true to our desired style and function. If we build again or even remodel we will definitely use Melby Design.”

    “Todd did excellent work designing our remodel/addition. Cars driving down the street in front of our house slow and often stop, just to see what was created on a small lot on the near west side of Madison. Todd's design was whimsical (I love his design style, even if I tease him about "what's that for?"), functional, and his services were economical too! Stop for a tour almost any time. 15 S Owen Drive.”

La Muro Associates knowledge, experience and extraordinary design were within budget and on time. His ability to conduct a team of talented professionals in the design and execution of the structure, landscape and interior treatments was outstanding and revealed the skills of an architect with long-standing experience.”

    “I hired Jill for her design expertise when I wanted a traditional bungalow kitchen for my 1918 house. She drew detailed design plans, working around some difficult configurations of the room (door way placement, chimney obstacle) still staying within my budget. She figured out all the lighting fixture placement, and helped with selection of fixtures, flooring (linoleum!), and cabinet hardware and colors. Jill is very diplomatic and a pleasure to work with. She kept the project moving, and saved me from some color mistakes. She worked very well with the general contractor. I felt like I had someone on my side who understood my wishes for a very period look. She offered alternatives for cabinets, which helped me decide on the custom cabinets I got. I am SO PLEASED with the end result, and I don't think it would have reflected as many of my preferences if I hadn't had Jill on the team. Her charges and very reasonable, and it's money well spent on design. I recommend her heartily!”

    “Andy at Ginko House is one of the best. His designs are both cutting edge and thoughtful. He is very good at creating space that feels right, and looks great. I've worked with him as a contractor several times, and found him to be a team player, very responsive, yet keeps the integrity of the project at the forefront. His client side manner is excellent. He works very hard to understand what the client is after, and strives to give the client exactly what they need. I reccomend Ginko House Architects very highly.”
