“I was looking for someone deeply experienced in technical domains, (architecture, construction, and fabrication) to fit the requirements of my custom home, the Galer Street House. Thomas was tasked with production of the interior custom cabinetry and associated custom woodworking. From our first meeting, Thomas’s communication, experience and broad background gave me confidence that he would understand the complex geometries and be able to deliver the high-end quality needed for this application. From the custom handmade walnut cabinets, custom furniture-like features and being always available to help me when the details needed his attention, he delivered. I was not disappointed. In addition, when challenged by architectural details and budget constraints on the exterior of the home, Thomas, owner of Studio Walker Architects, Inc., was able to take a large burden off my shoulders with his durable design/build approach, which was substantially less expensive and also resulted in a better overall appearance. “What can I say about Josh, well, many things, but here is the nails and wood of who he is as a professional...My partner and I recently hired him to design a water facing home. He jumped right to work in meeting us at the property to check it out. He provided a very reasonable quote for his services. And then the design services began...he is so prompt in his work, he is versed in understanding and will guide you in the permit, contracting, and engineering aspects as well. “Mike at Premium was a tremendous help in the complete renovation and remodelling of several properties in Victoria. His expertise and knowledge of both the design and construction of a complex project like these helped make them all successful. There were many design decisions that were needed to maximize the usability of the space, as we transferred many of the properties into highly desirable rental suites. Our tenants loved the final designs. Mike's expertise about the the full project scope (design, permits, construction, market) prevented us from making costly mistakes, while also enhancing the properties in their completed state. “We used Lindberg and Smith for two projects and were extremely happy with the process and results. They were very professional and competent and extremely easy to work with from start to finish. Our second project with them was quite large. They effectively handled the complex work and total site design while keeping track of many, many details that made each piece of the project an exquisite success. Throughout the project they were creative, great listeners, and adaptive to evolving requirements. We appreciate their deep sense of "Northwest" style and the easy, responsive way they work. “We are currently mid project with Ryan. He is skilled not only at translating our concepts into pleasing design but just as important his communication skills are excellent. Ryan is definitely a respectful, talented team player. We discovered Ryan Hoyt Designs and Ardmore Construction through a friends who had them design and build their custom home. It was done with attention to detail and workmanship ; just what we wanted in designing and building our home. Phase 1 the shop/barn/office is almost complete. Phase 2 is our home, and I'm sure we'll have more to say as this progresses.”
