“Having built two homes before, we were impressed with what Step One Design had to offer and commissioned Mike to draw up the plans for our current home. Mike arranged to meet with us at our lot, listened to our ideas and offered feedback and suggestions to come up with a plan that fit us perfectly based on our wants and needs. He was accessible, easy to communicate with and provided the plans on schedule. Step one Design brought together our vision while paying attention to practicality, finances and the aesthetics of the home. We were extremely happy with Mike’s work, would use his professional expertise again and would not hesitate to recommend him to others.”

“What can I say about Josh, well, many things, but here is the nails and wood of who he is as a professional...My partner and I recently hired him to design a water facing home. He jumped right to work in meeting us at the property to check it out. He provided a very reasonable quote for his services. And then the design services began...he is so prompt in his work, he is versed in understanding and will guide you in the permit, contracting, and engineering aspects as well. Pictures to follow when our home is done. Thanks Josh, you made building our first home from the ground up a breeze!”

“We used Lindberg and Smith for two projects and were extremely happy with the process and results. They were very professional and competent and extremely easy to work with from start to finish. Our second project with them was quite large. They effectively handled the complex work and total site design while keeping track of many, many details that made each piece of the project an exquisite success. Throughout the project they were creative, great listeners, and adaptive to evolving requirements. We appreciate their deep sense of "Northwest" style and the easy, responsive way they work. They also helped us select a great construction outfit which effectively delivered our mutual vision. L&S was very effective at designing to budget and in keeping their fees in line with the original estimate. I would gladly work with them again. They have my strongest recommendation. A truly great team.”

“Simon Little (Studio STL) is the architect we chose for our remodel. We didn’t come to him with a simple project, either – it’s the comprehensive remodel of a 3,200 square foot barn-style building we’re converting to a beautiful, single family residence. The previous owners were going in a remodel direction we felt didn’t suit the house or its location. Simon’s design gives our house the functionality and style it was lacking. It isn’t often you find an architect with his level of creativity balanced with budget-conscious judgment. Furthermore, as professional tradespeople ourselves, we’ve had the opportunity to work off several of his designs – each has been an accurate, creative set of plans (and beautiful!). He’s very professional and timely in all his correspondence. All around, Simon is a pleasure to work with.”

“Mike at Premium was a tremendous help in the complete renovation and remodelling of several properties in Victoria. His expertise and knowledge of both the design and construction of a complex project like these helped make them all successful. There were many design decisions that were needed to maximize the usability of the space, as we transferred many of the properties into highly desirable rental suites. Our tenants loved the final designs. Mike's expertise about the the full project scope (design, permits, construction, market) prevented us from making costly mistakes, while also enhancing the properties in their completed state. We will continue to work with Mike, and can't recommend him enough. The projects that we completed with Mike yielded properties that were instantly rented to long term tenants.”

“We have met with Zebra a number of times to discuss renos and they have always been prompt, engaging and professional. When we hired them to do a small reno of a older home, they came up with great ideas on simple changes to make things more efficient or cost effective (e.g. moving the door to the kitchen to give room for a pantry - to this day, I love this change). They also took into account the needs of our family (4 kids/dog) and chose products that were durable”

“Gillian helped me to redecorate my condominium. I am thrilled with the results as well as the fact that she was able to work within my budget (which was not very large). She did a wonderful job of getting a sense of my current decor and my style. She was then able to help me transform my home while working with most of my existing belongings. “Sean from D3 has done several design jobs for our company in the past year, and I have always been very impressed with his creativity, speed and quality of work. In one instance we asked for 3 views; Sean delivered 5 with no extra charge simply because he wanted to show off an interesting feature he'd added. I will definitely work with D3 again.”
