“Building a house is one of the most exciting, stressful, costly and memorable things one can do in a lifetime. Picking your designer is your first crucial decision. Emily makes the process incredibly pleasurable. She has the education and experience to make her great. However, it is her natural ability to see beauty that makes her exceptional. Emily has this incredible ability to help you see the vision which is hard for us first timers or novices out there. Emily takes your idea and stratifies it. She pushes you just enough so you take comfortable risks and gently steers you from regrettable mistakes. She is remarkable. One of the most important elements Emily brings is advocacy. During my build when we ran into problems, my builders/contractors would occasionally push me into solutions that were easiest or cheapest for them. Emily would not allow it. She would rectify the issue and provide solutions that we all agreed on and most importantly I was happy with. This makes her worth her weight in gold. Emily has everything you want and need in a designer. She is experienced, talented, diversified, organized, professional and truly a joy. You will have hundreds of decisions when building a home, Emily should be your first.”

Unlike the other design and staging companies I interviewed, Shar was etremely collaborative and took the time to understand the project and my goals. The result was an interior that was consistent with the design of the home and, frankly, was absolutely stunning! The staging immediately turned an empty house into a warm and inviting home. Lillian took my parents’ 50-year-old home and brought it into the 21st century, turning it into a like-new home. As a result of her creation we realized multiple bids upon listing and netted some $90,000 more upon sale than estimated by one of the largest real estate companies in the Twin Cities. She worked tirelessly to bring her vision to life, putting in unimaginable hours of time preparing the home for sale, with her keen eye noticing the smallest detail. “We just built a new house and used Annie Graunke from Studio M Interiors from start to finish. To say she made it a smooth transition is an understatement. I don't know how we would've done the process without her. She figured out our tastes immediately so every choice she made from then on out was either dead on or close enough that it was right the next time. I was amazed as to how quickly she nailed every single selection we made (flooring, cabinets, paint, etc...) She also understood our lifestyle (3 kids and a dog) and made our house exactly how we wanted it but kid friendly as well. Every person we have over to our house comments on how much they love the paint colors which were all Annie's picks. We wouldn't hesitate to use her again or recommend her for any type of project!”

“Sydney and Michelle are the best! They made my kitchen remodel so easy by helping select new counter tops, tile and paint that completely transformed the look and feel of our whole house (and stayed within our budget). We were so pleased that we hired them again to revamp our lake house. We painted some of what used to be floor to ceiling knotty pine to bright everything up, added new lighting throughout and a few key pieces of furniture. We have received so many compliments on both projects, definitely recommend!”
