“Testimonial for Eric Lim, Mr Shopper Studio After meeting with over 10 interior designers, we decided to engage Eric Lim from Mr Shopper Studio for the full renovation of our 1,300 sqft, 3-bedroom condo. It was a carefully considered decision—and now, two months after moving in, we couldn’t be happier. Our new home not only pleases us visually but feels like a true reflection of us—a space we’re proud to call our family home. What truly sets Eric apart is his collaborative and flexible approach. From the very beginning, he positioned himself as a partner, not just a designer. He listened closely to our needs and preferences, never forcing his own ideas, but instead offering thoughtful suggestions and honest guidance when it mattered most. Whether it was tweaking the overall layout or making detailed adjustments, Eric was always open and accommodating. One of Eric’s strongest traits is his exceptional project management. Both my wife and I are full-time working professionals, we had limited time to oversee the renovation, but Eric took care of everything—from initial hacking and removal to flooring and ceiling works to aircon installation, carpentry, painting, full-house carpentry and even liaising with third-party contractors we had separately engaged for fixes outside of the renovation contract. Getting regular updates was effortless, Eric kept us constantly updated with photos, videos, and clear communication throughout every stage. For first-time renovators like us, his hands-on coordination and responsiveness gave us real peace of mind. He personally accompanied us for material selections—whether it was lighting at Sol Luminaire, tiles at Hafary or kitchen carpentry mechanism at Blum —making the process smooth and enjoyable. Eric also connected us with his trusted vendor partners, which helped take the stress out of what could have been an overwhelming task. The renovation process went smoothly, with no major hiccups. Minor rectifications and unforeseen adjustments were handled promptly and professionally. Even during the design phase, Eric was always willing to accommodate our schedules, sometimes meeting late into the evening to ensure things kept moving. We also appreciated that Eric’s pricing was competitive—an important factor in helping us make our final decision. All in all, we’re incredibly thankful to Eric for bringing our vision to life. His positive attitude, reliability, and dedication made what could have been a stressful journey feel easy and enjoyable. We wouldn’t hesitate to recommend him to anyone looking for a trustworthy and talented interior designer. Thank you again, Eric, for helping us build a home we truly love.”

“We took the opportunity to renovate our 40 year-old flat when our HDB estate underwent its Home Improvement Programme (HIP). We were very fortunate to have Tom as our project manager as the entire process was essentially fuss-free. With his extensive project management experience, he helped ensure a seamless schedule with minimal disruptions to our neighbours and us. Demolition works were begun and completed just before our unit's HIP started, and the rest of the renovation (kitchen tiling, carpentry, plumbing, electrical works and full house painting) were done after our unit's HIP ended. The project was completed in good time with great satisfaction for all. During the planning stage, based on our requirements and budget, Tom was always able to offer his professional advice while keeping both aesthetics and practicality in mind. Whenever we had any queries, he is very responsive on Whatsapp. It is also commendable that Majestic Construction Engrg has assembled excellent and responsible teams. In particular, kudos to their carpenter and the two house painters assigned to our project. We can tell that they took immense pride in their work, as they were very meticulous and highly proficient in their craft. One of the workers related to us that he never had any problems getting paid over the past few years while working on their projects. We are glad to have engaged Majestic Construction Engrg for our home renovation and will definitely recommend them to our relatives and friends.”

“Our IDs Alvin & Jing Yi made our dream home come to life! We've heard of so many horror renovation stories that we started our search for THE ONE 2 years before key collection (covid delayed our key collection ) We chanced upon Yang's Interior at the Qanvast event & met with Alvin who was very straight forward and clear on the pros and cons of doing certain things we want. His opinions are valued because it brought us back to reality and practicality! We basically hit it off like we were long time friends haha this rapport was really important to us! We stayed in touch & went to look for more ID firms last year but couldn't find someone suitable. The people we met were nice! It just didn't feel suitable/right for us. It was then I remembered that we had a great chat with Alvin & we contacted him to find out more. That's when we were introduced to Jing Yi who is a superb adviser with superb project management skills!! Our renovation journey has been so smooth sailing, clear, no hidden charges and fun!! It is a great pleasure to have our first home to be done by them. We're a couple who values the upfront assessment in term of feasibililty, any shortcomings to our ideas and the cost involved (whether if its worth it or not), they were transparent & we are able to decide according to our budget! We're really thankful to have met them and I really believe that fate led us to meet & become friends (hehe self-proclaimed) The reno industry is soooo big & its difficult to find a trusted company with such a big purchase for your home. Alvin & Jing Yi didn't disappoint & will make sure everything (literally) is proper - this was the experience we had!! To Alvin & Jing Yi Thank you both so much for all the super professional advices, the finishings are so great & you guys have such a good team of contractors who are responsible & really detailed!! SYFY”
