“After spending one year looking at new homes throughout the Wilmington, NC area, my wife and I found that every time we came across a home that we loved it was built by Hagood. Once we purchased a property we went to Hagood and introduced ourselves. The builder is Jim Kenny, his wife Troy, designs the homes. Right away we knew that they were the team for us. Troy's designs are open and cheerful and the space is well thought out. Jim and his team are practical builders that understand budgets. They can build you a mansion or a wonderful beach bungalow. Throughout the build process all the members of the Hagood team have been responsive to our needs and our worries. Todd Plocharczyk was our direct link to Hagood Homes and oversaw all the details. I wouldn't consider building a new home without him.”

“Beach home renovation: complete kitchen remodel, bathrooms, floors, ceilings (remove popcorn), additions of bedroom and bath, addition of double car garage, outdoor shower, patio and upstairs deck. Builder went above and beyond to do a great job. Made great ideas better, used high quality materials and had excellent workers. Always provided access to professionals if needed. Builder was a perfectionist at the craft- would go back and change things that were not quite perfect, but acceptable to us. This made for a truly great experience. Was always very honest in challenging design details, yet always went the extra mile to make sure our desires could be met. There wasn't a challenge he could find a solution that never sacrificed quality or design, in fact, he presented several design changes that were fantastic and something we didn't think of and we know renovation. Our renovation is beautiful and magazine worthy.”
