“Provided fair estimate for three items in my house that needed work, then completed all work safely and efficiently. Plus determined why numerous light switches in my home didn't work properly, then provided fast and easy repairs. Concrete by Design L.L.C
Specialty Contractors in Carroll County.
Average rating: 5 out of 5 stars20 July 2016
“Concrete by Design refinished the floor in my garage and transformed it from a ho hum storage area into a beautiful extension of the house. The secret to this flooring system is the fact that it seals out moisture and actually insulates the floor. It's a far better floor than interlocking rubber tiles, which get moisture trapped underneath or regular paint, which peels up in a couple weeks. The process this company uses involves grind prepping the surface of the concrete and then applying the first coat of epoxy. The epoxy forms an unbreakable chemical bond with the concrete surface keeping dampness and cold out. Then two additional finish coats are applied leaving a smooth easy to clean surface. Mr. Brown (the owner of Concrete by Design) said that if we desired, he could add grit to the finish coat for a non-skid surface. I opted for the smooth surface for ease of cleaning. I have been recommending this floor and the friendly people at Concrete by Design to all my friends and family.”
