Mixing whites/off whites

I am building and have my heart set on a white kitchen, I prefer off white or something similar to this mushroom color cabinets over stark white. I'm afraid with white trim the off white colored cabinets wouldn't be asthetically pleasing. This kitchen is so beautifully done I would love your advice. Thank you!

Our trim is a creamy off white. It is more "white" than the mushroom colored cabinets. I don't think you need to match your cabinets and your trim to be identical color by any means. But you would want to make sure the colors go together. You don't want one to me more grey and one to be more creamy/yellowy. You want them in the same family of colors if that makes sense. I opened my earlier post to edit the paint name in case you ever want to paint non-tufted, no-nap fabric. Unfortunately, my cat Linguine loves the binging and bonging sounds of the computer when he stands on the keyboard. Not helpful. It disappeared so... here is the name: Simply Spray Fabric Paint for Upholstery. (They have your charcoal gray) It did not make the fabric crunchy, stiff or weird. Nobody wants crunchy, stiff, or weird :-) Again, I would not paint the fabric on your gorgeous bed but I would change the wood color. The black edge and empty white room are the reasons it looks heavy. If you paint the black, I would suggest using an artist brush on the edge that meets the fabric even with fabric covered. House or painter's brushes are too wide for good control in that tight space. They are not as flexible as artists brushes nor as small. The Paris bed I mentioned was gray velvet and soft matte metallic gold wood. Soft, romantic, dreamy and transporting to a world of Princesses and Kings. If you keep the purple, I vote for gold or silver wood but NOT high gloss.

I would definitely consider an off white colour as this will be a safe, and probably more attractive option with the colours your stated on your bed. However the sheen may not go well with the green and white laminate, if the chandelier go well with the decor of the room then I think going for a sheen finish could easily finish off the room! However if not it could really make your room have two contrasting style schemes. Off white would also look good, but if you like a bit a glam, then a sheen finish is a fantastic option! What other stuff do you have in your room? Is it possible to upload a picture as many 'minds' can make light work lol. We cannot really comment on adding things to brighten it up but I am sure there are designers on Houzz that can help. :)

work out the wall space you want to cover, measure this on the floor. then start laying out our design within the space on the floor to create your design. There has to be lines running through the collage so there is a method to the madness- we don't want a messy looking arrangement, there must be a flow. You can line up the matts with outside edge of other frames etc. Layout all of your pics on the floor and mix up the frame styles and sizes amongst your layout. Take photos of your layout and then start hanging. My tip is don't start hanging until you have your plan 100% !!! lots of neck stretches too! i recently put together this collage and need a neck massage afterwards ;-)

you can mainly go for Scandinavian and the touch of Singapore can be through arts, accent pieces...say cushions with peranakan tiles, etc.. It also depends on how big your space is. Scandinavian style tends to work well on small to medium sized space as it is clean and uncluttered. the Singapore style or oriental style can be pretty "heavy " when the proportion and composition are not balance.
