White themed bathroom ... How to warm it up?
Comments (8)I really like pale grayish sage with white. Also a cool greenish aqua for a soothing look to the bath. White or gray Corian counter. If it's a low-use bath such as a powder room, white marble would be lovely for the counter. Rug or mat on the floor with a nice pattern to hide spills, dog hair, etc. If you have a window, lovely drapes, custom shade or match-stick blinds would help warm the space. Finally, if you have a bathtub, a custom shower curtain will really dress up the space and add character/warmth. Look at drapes as well as shower curtains on Houzz to get inspiration. https://www.houzz.com/photos/custom-shower-curtain-phbr0lbl-bl~l_43312 Consider the space across from the toilet & hang a piece of art there if possible....See MoreCurtains - despite aircons above the window
Comments (7)Of course ... here we go. Let me know if this helps. Patricia, yes, I understand that the drapes will need to be open. IN my case the curtains are less about Privacy, but more about making the room visually higher & covering windows that are not too attractive. Comments (5)I have a recess built into the walls which is great, but not helpful in this situation. We will always default to the easiest method when it comes to daily tasks and the caddie is probably the best solution it you are renting and not allowed to drill the tiles, but it is not as easy to put things in a caddie as it is a shelf. If you can drill the tiles, a shelf will be easier. Be as minimalist as possible with stuff on it as well. There are plenty of other options in cushion storage from storage shops too. Good luck....See MoreBedroom furnishing
Comments (1)Hi Ellie, You may wish to consider a painted brick wall! The white brick finish is playful and stylish. And since it's a painted finish, it has the added advantage of being able to go over the recessed walls and ducting, to ensure a cohesive look. Do contact me at dominic@performancecoatings.com.sg to find out more. We would love to collaborate with you on changing up your son's room! All the best!...See Moreminnie101
