should i paint them the same color as the walls (cream) or white as the previous owner?

Even basic looking trim pops with a little contrast, so we always do trim white

I agree with Brandi - it would probably involve a ventilation fan to remove moisture? My solution is to simply avoid leaving towels in the bathroom. I have a rack in my room where the air conditioning is turned on. Not the best solution but the fastest.

Hi Amuro Elaine, Are you working with an interior designer to renovate your home? You'll probably be asked a few questions such as: How many people will live here? Is the bedroom wall a structural, load-bearing wall? Do you intend to entertain? But what an interesting space you have, and especially if you are living alone, there's so much potential to transforming it into your own pretty pad! If I were you, I would swap the living space with the bedroom, that means hacking the bedroom wall open, and then erecting a wall from that point where your kitchen wall ends. Have the wall in glass, with sliding glass doors, so that you can open it up when you have guests over. Are these mold & Mite on the surface of my wardrobe?

Anyone have experienced this before? Bought these Ikea Pax wardrobe about 7 years before. About 2-3 years back dark patches started to appear. The Ikea product guide indicated this wardrobe comes with 10 years 'Guarantee' on workmanship and product defects. Contacted Ikea customer service. Was told that this is 'mold and mite' that grew because of high humidity in Singapore... Don't really buy the reason. I have other furniture for more than 10 years, never have such problem before. My bed room door is also wood, no such patches developed before. BTW, mold and mite, that sound like health hazard, do I need to dispose of these wardrobe and including the clothes in it?
