Need help with my balcony!
Comments (19)You can check out the outdoor floor tiles like the Scala (Google Snap and Go tile) which are easy to piece additionally on the ground for a new look. ;) I saw another brand here, http://list.qoo10.sg/item/OUTDOOR-TIMBER-FLOOR-TILE-SINGAPORE-SELLER-100-AUTHENTIC-BEAUTIFUL/482453309 (not sure where this brand is from but they all work the same). They even have faux grass, stones as well as timber. Definitely easy to DIY, and you can combine different surfaces together if you want (stones and wood combo for example)....See MoreSingaporean Houzzer? Say Hi!

Absolut Outdoors and Green Turf can tell you more :) And I'd hang an outdoor art piece or a screen for air plants on that blank wall, too, to enliven your balcony....See MoreIs a full 3D-mockup absolutely essential?
Comments (8)3D mock up renderings have become the norm these days and do help to win over most of clients. Its become part of our work process in Singapore. Its all about what the market is used to. Back home in South Africa and most other countries we work in, its unheard of still and we manage to convince our clients with hand sketches and 2D drawings. Singapore has a technologically advanced society and we have to keep up with what our clients want. Most of our clients receive a 3D animation walk through video like this. Some clients are still not able to visualise and demand to show them more. The point i am trying to make is, when do we show enough? Maybe one day we will print 3D presentations? One never knows what technology is going to bring tomorrow and how our world changes. Enjoy the video and tell me if you are able to visualise the space as we designed?...See Moreianthy
