Help!! I have a large family.
Comments (6)I have a table by Lyndon Furniture, handmade in Lyndonville, VT which is an oval 48" x 72" regulatly, but with two 18" leaves it extends to 108". At six feet, w/o leaves, it seats six comfortably. At 7 1/2 feet, it seats 8 comfortably, and at 9 feet it can seat 12-14, depending on the size of the chairs. Since it is an oval, we have had 14 people sitting at on holidays. With servings dishes on a side table, it is more than adequate for that many people....See MoreHow to arrange my sofa in a 1000 square feet condo
Comments (5)Thanks a lot Lampert Dias architect, ainslie, and edithsmom for your precious comments. I was so happy and excited when I saw your comments being posted up... Really appreciate it so much. My chesterfield measures about 210cm by 89cm by 75cm...hence I am not sure if there is still space for an armchair. I love the aviator chair from restoration hardware but probably have to give it a miss as the arm chair's length is about 100 cm . Any advice on any armchair that can go with the chesterfield? Or not advisable to put any armchair since the space layout is quite small?...See Morei am bored with the look of my home!
Comments (26)Hi. It's looking really good and you've done well with the bookshelves! ! I love the new sofa! I would say just a tad more yellow if your husband can bear it, doesn't have to be solid yellow. I'd add something else on the left shelves (I'd move one shelf of photos to the right hand shelving and swap for some books), maybe a ginger jar if you can get an old one. Maybe a patterned throw or cushion for your wooden chair and a small yellow throw for the bench just draped over the corner. Table idea sounds great. Are you happy with it? I think it's made such a big difference...See MoreNeed help for kitchen layout please!
Comments (8)Hi Rhonda, i also recently redid my terrace and installed a wet and dry island in my kitchen. As for your floor plan, if you're willing to consider tearing down the maid's room and moving it to the back, it will free up a lot of space for your dry kitchen/dining area. A bit unconventional, but you can also install the island in between the 2 pillars that are in the center. You can then install pot racks or wine glass holders on top of your island. Enjoy the journey and keep calm. :) Charlene More info...See Morejdtm1
