Kitchen Extension

Hi
We are really unhappy with the particular red brick/white grout combination on the back of our kitchen extension. We have the following options;
- darken the grout
- completely change the brick (attached photo)
- put a tile brick effect over the existing brick (attached photo Lithium)
- leave as is and work around it.
Any suggestions and or inspiration would be greatly appreciated !

More context of the surroundings and how it works with the rest of the house (in other words more pictures) please.

Yeah, more pics please! Because it looks like it matches the main house well. IF that is the main house on the two storey and the addition as the one storey below.

While big mirrors are great for expanding space, I would recommend not fitting mirrors on walls in the bedroom. Maybe cupboards with some doors with mirror, or a large mirror.

Kitchen and dinning area could be smaller. The laundry ideally should be easily accessed, preferably close to the kitchen. Will the carport be parked with a vehicle for the majority of time? If so it might not be ideal to have the living room looking at the carport that is covered without much daylight.

Constance and the Creative Mind Design team, you've done an amazing job in restoring a heritage house, and shining a light on a precious family story! The original house is clearly well built for the environment: large overhanging roof, windows tucked neatly under. Love the rusticated exterior and the big arches in the porte cochere too. Haunted only to those who don't know the story! I also love that the original house has been updated to serve the needs of the current, without forgetting the past. Those pink mosaic tiles and wrought iron grilles fit in very nicely in the new house. The airwell seems to bridge the new and old worlds perfectly too.

Don't put fake brick over the brick you have. You can paint the brick with the proper paint. With the large black sliders, maybe white or gray would look great.

Which is the kitchen extension? The commercial building one with the clashing stone above? Or the other picture where the brick looks seamless?
