I so wish I knew. We staged this home many years ago and the cabinets were painted prior to that by the owner.

Hi, We suggest that you g⁠⁠⁠⁠o for grey (safer) or black (more "loud" and daring) laminate colours as it matches really well with the granite you have. These colours will definitely give a touch of elegance and express a modern look theme! Only two pictures are showing up for me. Can you have black or dark grey cupboards in your vanity or a dark framed mirror so that the cream becomes more of an accent colour (ie, the colour of your bath tiles are the 70%, the cream is your 20% and another colour your 10%?).

You already have your accent colour as your sofa pillows (log roll pillows). I would take one of them shopping with me to get a rug that has that colour in it. It doesn't need to be a lot of that colour (I love the idea of burgandy rug here...but it might be too much with your monotone scheme). You can find a large rug that incorporates that red/raspberry in it so that you have a colour that is now your accent.

Just thought I'd share these three pictures which I found inspiring and I want for my own home: The first was taken in the Elizabeth Bay House. I just love the colour of the wall, which goes so well with the elegance of the wooden cabinet. Some antiques on top of the cabinet completes the picture. The second is a well-preserved, late 1800s arts-and-crafts era house that is just pleasant in its simplicity and well-kempt-ness. These houses can be found in many suburbs in Sydney, especially in the Mosman, NSW area. ("To be simple is the end, not the beginning of design." — Charles Voysey) The third is the front porch of a house in the Newtown area, which makes use of eclectic art-nouveau era, antique lead-fired tiles in between the steps. These tiles are no longer produced, are very radiant and colourful when seen up close. They have also been used as splash tiles. Most of these were made in England or Belgium, but Japan was also a big producer of these in the late 19th- early 20th century as well. Hope everyone's having an awesome weekend!
