Fridge in Pantry instead of Kitchen

My kitchen will be open plan with an island and 2.3m wall behind the island with pantry and scullery door on either side of this wall. My plan was to install the gas hob and extractor on the 2.3m wall, a prep sink in the island as I will have wash up area in the scullery. My question is: Is it sensible to install a fridge in a pantry instead of kitchen itself? as it will spoil the design if it has to be installed in the kitchen. Photo of kitchen plan attached.
