How to clean door hinges

Does anyone what this is and how I can clean this please?

    It looks to me as if the hinges have been exposed to moisture.

    On a very tiny area, try a few drops of lemon juice and some table salt. Rub gently with a cotton swab. Wipe with a damp cloth and dry immediately. I do not know it it will work because I do not know what kind of metal the hinges are.

    Try metal cleaning polish, Autosol. Or WD40 which will also get rid of creaking!

    3 parts of distilled vinegar/ Apple cider and 1 part of extra virgin olive oil in a small spray bottle. spray on ur hinges and rub on it to polish. try it and it's very useful, i always used this matter on my tarnished pad lock. Hope this helps.
