How to remove a collaborator from an idea book

Collaborators to idea books can change. How do I remove someone from an idea book for which I am the creator?

Hello!

This is the procedure to remove a collaborator using a computer.

(It might be different if you are using a tablet or phone.)

In the top right corner, next to your profile/login,
- Open 'Your Houzz'
- Select 'Your Ideabooks'
- Click 'All Collaborators' button
- --- a drop-down box should appear, select the collaborator you'd like to remove
- All Ideabooks in which you've collaborated will appear. If there is more than one, you'll need to repeat the following to remove the collaborator:
- Open 'Ideabook'
- At the right corner of the screen, select 'Settings'
- A new window named 'Edit Ideabook' will open
- Select 'Make Ideabook Private'
- Finish by pressing the 'Save' button

Hi Fred, Thanks for the want of the precise measurements. The U shape area in my kitchen is 64" - 104 - 99" (left - centre - right). Height of the kitchen area is 107". The wall with the fridge has total length of 99" Fridge is 32" wide, 29" deep, 73" high (I bought this fridge on a good bargain but realized it was slightly oversized in this kitchen area, but got to live with it now) The wall beside the fridge is 23" deep I know some gap has to be left between this wall, the fridge and the wall mounted/countertop cabinets for ventilation I guess. So I'd say the cabinets on this wall will have a length of only 63"/64"? The microwave is 18.5 wide, 13" deep, 10.5" high The oven is 24" wide, 24" deep, 24" high. The wall next to the fridge which will have this feature cabinet 42" wide, 110" high which is next to the main door. I'm thinking the feature wall is kind of plain, but it covers up where the fridge is sticking out.

Hi. It's looking really good and you've done well with the bookshelves! ! I love the new sofa! I would say just a tad more yellow if your husband can bear it, doesn't have to be solid yellow. I'd add something else on the left shelves (I'd move one shelf of photos to the right hand shelving and swap for some books), maybe a ginger jar if you can get an old one. Maybe a patterned throw or cushion for your wooden chair and a small yellow throw for the bench just draped over the corner. Table idea sounds great. Are you happy with it? I think it's made such a big difference

Saving photos to ideabooks lets you keep a record of your favourite ideas right across Houzz. Hovering your cursor over any photo will show you a Save button. You can create a new ideabook or save your photo to an existing ideabook you created earlier. You can then share ideabooks you have assembled with friends or maybe your architect, and you can even collaborate on the same ideabooks so that you can both add ideas to the same book. Start by going to your ideabooks (Your Houzz > Ideabooks > [the one you want to share] ) Open the ideabook and click the Add or Edit Collaborators button. You can adjust the permissions of each collaborator and the privacy of the ideabook at the same time... Collaborators will now be notified when someone adds saves a new photos to the ideabook, and, permissions allowing, they can add their own.

Hi, I agree with Gary, do a hotel setting to make it more appealing. Here’s an idea. Remove the partition, move the closet down and add a big slider freeing up the space for a spacious bedroom with lounge seating/dining by the window. Think about the tv wall where it can have a proper work desk space. And do you have balcony? Perfect !

Still doesn't remove the collaborator or the ideabook. I would like to clean up these files.

Hi there,

Sorry for the late reply! If you would like to remove a collaborator, click where you see the invite button and you will see your current collaborators listed along with a small edit button.

Click the edit button and you will see a list of the current collaborators with a dropdown menu next to each of them. Click on the menu next to the one you would like to remove and select "Remove User." Hope that helps!
