Dimensions for beautiful extension?

Just gorgeous! Would you mind sharing the length and width of the extension please?

Hi thank you for the comment. There are two parts to the extension.

In the foreground a side return extension aproximately 3 x 4m

and beyond the kitchen the dining area is an additional 3 x 3m. So the overall space is around 6m wide. Hope this helps?

Hi Few points: 1. It's not an independent residential apartment. It is a flat in a 25storey block 2. I have attached the floor plan for reference. The entrance is not too huge. 3. It's good to know that you guys have liked the Bathroom & kitchen design. The tiling work is in progress and it has come out well. I will take few snaps and post 4. When I say resort look - I understand and mean a simplistic natural looking design. More towards wood, nature, green, matt finish etc... Hope i am not confusing anyone here 5. Do you think the bathroom & kitchen design gels with what I mean by resort look. 6. The foyer area is a small (not too big) entrance. It's like a passage as you can see in the pics I posted earlier. When you enter you don't see the entire living room rather you see the wall (kitchen wall), where we intend to keep our dining table. Some thoughts on designing that wall is also requested Thanks!

Hi Fred, Thanks for the want of the precise measurements. The U shape area in my kitchen is 64" - 104 - 99" (left - centre - right). Height of the kitchen area is 107". The wall with the fridge has total length of 99" Fridge is 32" wide, 29" deep, 73" high (I bought this fridge on a good bargain but realized it was slightly oversized in this kitchen area, but got to live with it now) The wall beside the fridge is 23" deep I know some gap has to be left between this wall, the fridge and the wall mounted/countertop cabinets for ventilation I guess. So I'd say the cabinets on this wall will have a length of only 63"/64"? The microwave is 18.5 wide, 13" deep, 10.5" high The oven is 24" wide, 24" deep, 24" high. The wall next to the fridge which will have this feature cabinet 42" wide, 110" high which is next to the main door. I'm thinking the feature wall is kind of plain, but it covers up where the fridge is sticking out.

Beside the sequence of events, you need to know the timeline as in how long for each stage. Start selecting your tiles and sanitary wares for your kitchen and toilets as it will take sometime to agree (I am assuming you have to discuss with your family) on the colors and design of the tiles, the type of taps, mixers etc. Also think about where you want to locate your switches and lightings. If you are getting refrigerator with auto ice maker, you need to decide the position as well so your contractor put a water and power point near it. All these take a lot time for decision when you have a few persons to discuss and decide. Dun get into a situation where your contractor tells you they are waiting for you to get to the next stage and put the delay to you and you will be forced to make hasty decisions. Constance and the Creative Mind Design team, you've done an amazing job in restoring a heritage house, and shining a light on a precious family story! The original house is clearly well built for the environment: large overhanging roof, windows tucked neatly under. Love the rusticated exterior and the big arches in the porte cochere too. Haunted only to those who don't know the story! I also love that the original house has been updated to serve the needs of the current, without forgetting the past. Those pink mosaic tiles and wrought iron grilles fit in very nicely in the new house. The airwell seems to bridge the new and old worlds perfectly too.
