Main Door /living room/ foyer layout design dilemma

Hi guys,
Just want your input regarding our 2nd floor main door positioning. Is it too much in the middle of the house? We are thinking that this layout makes the living room smaller than if we move the door a little bit more to the right. We think the foyer area might be too big with this layout. But if we move the stairs more to the right it might be a hazard since it might be too close to the staircase going down. Any help would be appreciated. Thanj you.
