I really like pale grayish sage with white. Also a cool greenish aqua for a soothing look to the bath. White or gray Corian counter. If it's a low-use bath such as a powder room, white marble would be lovely for the counter. Rug or mat on the floor with a nice pattern to hide spills, dog hair, etc. If you have a window, lovely drapes, custom shade or match-stick blinds would help warm the space. Finally, if you have a bathtub, a custom shower curtain will really dress up the space and add character/warmth. Here are some Benjamin Moore colors that look close to some of the tones in the tiles: shaker beige, muslin, bone white, Richmond bisque. It's difficult to be sure as monitor colors may be different than actual colors.

you painted that? it's stunning! you can do a lot with just a rug. I have 2 toddlers 2.5 yrs old and 19 months old. and I used a low pile indoor/outdoor rug from Walmart. it was like 40$ for a 5x8. it was soooooo easy to clean even when it was blackberry stains! if you really don't want a to buy a rug there are a ton of DIY area rugs on pintrest where you take a cloth and tape it to a non slip pad, then toss it in the wash! brilliant right? you can definitely use 2 big pillows, the have a mustardy/yellow one at ikea (you can wash the covers and switch them too) and maybe a couple small accent pillows. but LOVING the painting...and I wish it was mine..K bye lol! :)

if you lighten the cabinets etc, then the stone will appear more prominent. if that is what you want, that is fine. I sensed that you did not like the current counter. I would contact a marble/granite installer to see if they think that the cracks can be filled and polished out. it is pretty common to do this on new installations if it is feasible. they may try to charge you as as much as you would spend on a fabricating a counter out of a new slab if they did not do the original installation.
