Leib DesignsWe created this custom made entertainment unit, that is able to store a flat screen TV and electronics along with a fireplace by Hearth Cabinet. This unit is the perfect complement to night time views of the city, while the residents remain warm and cozy in the company of the living room's opulence. During the day, the refinished hardwood floors and artwork on the walls are adorned by the sun, only to complete the essence of the living room.

Matarozzi Pelsinger BuildersComplete renovation of 1960's ranch style home located in Los Altos. The design is functional modern with many stylish and unique amenities. The new design incorporates more light and views to the outside. Features of the home include vaulted ceilings, a large chef's kitchen with top of the line appliances and a more open floor plan than the original home. Sustainable features of this project include bamboo flooring, solar photovoltaic electric generation, solar hydronic hot water heating for the pool and a high efficiency tankless hot water system for the pool/exercise room.

DHD Architecture and Interior DesignOriginally designed by Delano and Aldrich in 1917, this building served as carriage house to the William and Dorothy Straight mansion several blocks away on the Upper East Side of New York. With practically no original detail, this relatively humble structure was reconfigured into something more befitting the client’s needs. To convert it for a single family, interior floor plates are carved away to form two elegant double height spaces. The front façade is modified to express the grandness of the new interior. A beautiful new rear garden is formed by the demolition of an overbuilt addition. The entire rear façade was removed and replaced. A full floor was added to the roof, and a newly configured stair core incorporated an elevator.

Miele GBOffering the chance to prepare professional style sous vide dishes at home, when combined with a Miele steam oven, this stylish vacuum sealing drawer also has many other practical uses, including helping to reduce food waste. Items such as biscuits and crisps can be resealed in its original packaging or tipped into a vacuum bag and removing the air to preserve the crunch. Jars can be placed in the drawer to replace the pop. Vacuum sealing is also ideal for freezing, helping to eliminate freezer burn and increase storage space by removing produce from its original, larger packaging, reducing it down to smaller items that are easier to store.
