My Houzz

This is my third son's bedroom--a real departure from the baby room--my husband built the floating shelves and desk. I had the rocking chair slipcovered in a neutral microfibre that matches the chevron in the curtains. I found the orange pouf in San Francisco--it's from Tazi Designs, and I had the curtains made through designer Shannon Soro of Moving Designs after finding the material at Designer Fabrics Outlet here in Toronto. My upholsterer made the little owl pillow on the rocking chair after I found the fabric (it's Alexander Henry) on Etsy, including the cute orange ball fringe. The quilt is something I made from fabrics I picked up at Britex in San Francisco. Photo Credit: Dorin Greenwood
