Cloudy blue gray walls and ceiling along with charcoal gray door contrast beautifully against the white trim of this cozy master bedroom. The bed is covered in easy-breezy, washable linens in shades of deep blue-gray. Flanking the bed are a pair of handcrafted live-edge bedside table sans legs. Above each tabletop hangs an antique brass pendant c.1970. A pair of club chairs, also from the 1970s, offers the perfect place to relax or read. On the wall above the chairs hangs a brightly colored graphic painting that provides a punch of color, marrying perfectly with the watercolor that hangs above the bed. Both pieces pull the gold, orange and blue-gray tones of the room together. The modern fan above functions as art and provides air circulation. Woven blinds add texture and privacy while echoing the stain of the clear-coated hardwood floors that are original to the home.
