Schwartz and ArchitectureThe most noteworthy quality of this suburban home was its dramatic site overlooking a wide- open hillside. The interior spaces, however, did little to engage with this expansive view. Our project corrects these deficits, lifting the height of the space over the kitchen and dining rooms and lining the rear facade with a series of 9' high doors, opening to the deck and the hillside beyond.

Northworks Architects + PlannersThis project was a complete renovation of a single-family residence perched on a mountain in Lake Tahoe, NV. The house features large expanses of glass that will provide a direct connection to the exterior for picture-perfect lake, mountain and forest views. Created for an art collector, the interior has all the features of a gallery: an open plan, white walls, clean lines, and carefully located sight lines that frame each individual piece. Exterior materials include steel and glass windows, stained cedar lap siding and a standing seam metal roof.

WRJ DesignWe embrace collaboration: Working with the incomparable Agnes Bourne, we created a residence at once rustic and rare, in concert with its surroundings. The one-of-a-kind palette featured reclaimed timbers, Montana moss stone, custom furniture in leather, mohair and linen plus pops of crimson.
