“My place is less than 1000 sq felt but Alan and team make it looks amazingly huge and super cozy with its timeless design. Their design considered the natural elements of the space and our super fussy requirements and they blended them together to build our dream space that's uniquely ours, not a cookie cutter designer for sure! “My family engaged IX Architects to reconstruct our semi-detached house. Our old house was dark and closed. We told IX that we wanted a long line of sight to the house and a skylight/well amongst other requests. IX delivered. The long line of sight gives the house an open and wide feel. The skylight in the middle of the house allowed light into the dark areas and brightened up the home. In addition, IX designed the house such that the 2 blocks of living spaces gives the distinct feel of separation of areas and privacy which we like a lot. The only complaint we have is the sizes of the two bedrooms which are too small. We expected them to be as big as our old bedrooms. We were unable to gauge from the 3D visual of the bedroom sizes as we have to see the actual physical layout to be able to know the size. Unfortunately a physical mock up of the actual size is out of the question. Overall, we like the design that IX has come up with. Our house is much brighter and we are able to see greenery from almost anywhere in the home.”

“Working with SOLID architects was a joy! Our project was working on a very tight timeline and was anxiety filled but the team managed to pull it off and provided us with a wonderful home for us to make beautiful memories. The process was made as smooth sailing as possible which is important considering how heavy a financial, and more importantly an emotional, investment is one's home. The team provided opportunities for us to incorporate our inputs (which allowed us to leave our personal marks on the project) whilst lending their professional advice and taking a firm stance even though it contradicted our preference. Having lived in for about half a year now, we can say that most of their advice is spot on! The firm's business model is a little unique as they are not a one-stop shop ID firm. The advantages of such a model include the fact that there is minimal (if no) collusion involving the contractors and there is greater transparency in the tender and appointment process. The downside is that you may potentially have to work with 2 separate entities (ID and contractor) but the firm did managed to make more efficient the communication process. All in, for our first home project, we are happy with the finished product and this may not have been achievable if not for the team at SOLID architects!”

“Park+Associates completed my house. From the first meeting with their top man Mr Park and Director Christina Thean to the completion after 1.5 years, the team has been professional. There were unexpected issues on site ranging from URA, the neighbours, some vendors, but each and every time, the Park+A were always there to review, clarify, and resolve the problems on a timely but yet commendable basis. Christina Thean would also spend the time to review the work on-site. The timber tiles were laid but were completely rejected as the colour tone was not the selected original colour. She also spend the time to assist with the selection of the furniture and its colour combination although this was not necessarily the scope of her responsibility. The follow up after the completion of house is commendable as any defects and faults were communicated with the main contractor. Till to-date, after one year of staying at the "Greja House", we are are most happy to have Park+Associates as our Architect.”
