Need your ideas on entry upgrade!
Hey all...looking for ideas and opinions on changing up the front porch of my home. My questions are below the pics. All comments and suggestions are greatly appreciated.
- What style of house is this (circa 1998)? Despite my research, I am not certain.
The stone porch is settling at an angle away from the house and needs repair. What type of material would be most practical and attractive? Keep the current footprint or enlarge?
The entry doors are drafty. Although the current ones imitate the panes of the windows, they seem "cottage" in style to me. I'm wondering if a change to something like this would be appropriate:
For added architectural interest as well as a little bit of sun/rain protection, I'm considering adding a metal door roof such as this:
Perhaps someone smarter than me can figure out how to create a mock up with the changes.
