The homeowner looked to us to only renovate the attic into a master bedroom suite, but due to a tragic fire an amazing client decided to rebuild and take ahold of an opportunity to realize a new home for their blended family.

As the building exceeded the area that could be built on the lot we salvaged the exterior and created a new modern home within the confines of the existing walls.

Phillip Schalekamp of SPDI collaborated on the design of the interior stair and it was fabricated by SPDI as well.
