House Of Heras is a boutique design studio led by award winning designer Silvana Azzi Heras, who specialise in highly decorative designs applied to a variety of textiles including wallpapers and fabric. This debut rug collection from House Of Heras focuses on Australian flora and fauna as seen through the lens of the Arts and Crafts movement. These intricate and beautiful designs sprung from the desire to create interiors that are high end and opulent, yet give the simple comforting pleasure of being at home surrounded by wonderful things. Victorian’s a tough and heavy style to capture in tight spaces, especially in Singapore's HDB public housing. nOtch applied a modern spin to this classic regal styling – substituting the much needed dramatics of high ceilings with clean and modern asymmetrical sloped ceilings. True to Victorian fashion, no details were spared – from plush velvet upholstery, customised paint detailing on the Victorian furniture, to dramatic lighting and deco panels, we ensured that every detail has a sense of modernity to it, making the space luxurious, and yet feeling light and airy. Imaginer une décoration dans les couleurs de mauve & violet pour une jeune fille J'ai d'abord travaillée sur la planche de style afin de valider avec ma jeune cliente ses envies Quand celle ci fut validée, j'ai donc modélisé en 3D sa future chambre, avec l'ajout d'une tête de lit en bois peinte en beige, un joli mur de cadres dans les tons mauve, et la création d'un bureau d'angles avec des caissons ikea et des planches de sapin patinés en blanc. J'ai également préconisé de peindre le soubassement avec les moulures déjà existantes dans un beau violet afin de rythmer la pièce et la rendre plus cossue. Ma cliente , étant ado, a besoin d'un endroit pour accrocher les photos , j'ai donc imaginée des les mettre en valeur dans les 2 grandes moulures qui seront peintes en beige avec une peinture aimantée magnétique. Sur ce dossier c'est du home staging à 100%!! The ‘Catherine Martin Deco Collection’ is the second range created in collaboration with this Academy Award winning designer and multi-skilled visionary who, on this occasion, has crafted a superb series of five designs, each of which pays homage to the romance of the unique period that is ‘Art Deco’, while remaining imbued with a fantastical quality of their own that is undeniably the signature of Catherine Martin herself. The Catherine Martin Deco Collection features four designs at a (standard) size of 2.4 x 3M and a fifth design at 2.4 x 2.4M. All designs can be custom sized and custom coloured to suit. Hand knotted from Tibetan wool and silk, the colour palette - which includes exquisite combinations such as steel blue, amethyst and champagne, alongside dark chocolate, topaz and tobacco - are as subtle as they are sumptuous…evoking both a magical nostalgia and sophisticated modernism in equal measure.
