Inspiration for an American exterior in London.

We completed the build of this wonderful and characterful arts and crafts home in Abbotswood, Guilford for our client. We did a full refurbishment of the property, with a two story rear extension and a loft conversion.

The house was originally a single story 2 bedroom Californian bungalow. It had been extended in the 80's to include a second story. Further internal renovation had been done in the early 2000's. The previous renovation had left odd areas of the house that didn't really function very well. This renovation was designed to tie all of the areas together and create a whole house that was unified from front to back.

L’enduit à la chaux est déjà teinté naturellement par les sables qui entrent dans sa composition. Il est toutefois possible d’y ajouter des pigments qui offrent une gamme de nuances riche et variée. Cet enduit décoratif est né de la recherche d'un équilibre subtil, entre modernité et tradition, entre science et artisanat, et sans compromis vis-à-vis de l'environnement et de la santé. Conçu à l'intention de ceux qui souhaitent apporter richesse, touche d’authenticité et identité à leur façade. Il apporte un aspect de décor lisse ou structuré, selon le geste de nos compagnons décorateurs. Il est inspiré d'un enduit traditionnel des plus anciens et des plus nobles. Il est aussi utilisé en décoration intérieure des murs.
