A fun and playful bedroom designed for this beautiful Victorian home, with a strong emphasis on colour, form and a place to play. I designed this clever bunk bed put together using two IKEA Kura beds, adding a ladder on storage at one end, a rope net and panelling. To decorate the room the floor was replaced with engineered wood boards, and I commissioned a mural artist to paint the rainbow around the floor. To complete the room the ceiling was wallpapered with a band of paint framing this at the top of the room.

Designed with imagination and comfort in mind, this charming bedroom was created for a 5-year-old girl who loves all things pink and playful. Soft blush tones wrap the room in warmth, while natural textures like rattan baskets and a woven dollhouse add an earthy, grounded touch. Delicate swan wall sculptures and bunting flags infuse a sense of whimsy, while practical storage solutions keep the space organized and child-friendly. Layered with cozy textiles, playful artwork, and thoughtful details, this room strikes a perfect balance between function and fantasy providing a joyful and nurturing environment for play, creativity, and quiet time alike.

When our client asked us to create a bedroom design for her 17 year old daughter we were keen to work in collaboration to capture her ideas and reflect them in the interior design. As a designer, it is very exciting to have the opportunity to bounce ideas with your client, and our young client had some lovely ideas.

Child's bedroom with gorgeous soft pastel colours, animal motifs and bespoke curved headboard

This bedroom was designed for a mature, ten year old boy. After completing the MINI CASA client questionnaire with the child and his parents, I was able to get to know his personality and understand the functional requirements for the space. The boy has a spirit of adventure and a strong interest in marine life which directed the theme and colour palette. Functionally, it was important to create a space for him to study, sleep and relax with friends. As the parents intend for this room design to serve their child until he leaves home, it was important to select a timeless colour palette and quality pieces of furniture that the boy can grow into.

I designed this "princess bed" for both granny and the little girl to grow into. It is an extra wide single bed with a bespoke canopy and headboard to mirror the clouds in the mural.

Childrens bedroom with 3d under the sea headboard. Led lights mimic the sun's rays filtering down through the water. Ample storage is provided in the wardrobes and drawers and a desk section, sofa and TV turn it into a playroom.
