House of L In the design stages many details were incorporated in this classic kitchen to give it dimension since the surround cabinets, counters and backsplash were white. Polished nickel plumbing, hardware and custom grilles on feature cabinets along with the island pendants add shine, while finer details such as inset doors, furniture kicks on non-working areas and lofty crown details add a layering effect in the millwork. Solution: Bright, Spacious & Contemporary
Re-worked spaces for better function, flow and open concept plan. New space has more than 12 times as much exterior glass to flood the space in natural light (all glass is frosted for privacy). Created a stylized boutique feel with modern lighting design and opened up front entry to include a new coat closet, built in bench and display shelving. .

A rustic yet elegant kitchen that could handle the comings and goings of three boys as well as the preparation of their mom's gourmet meals for them, was a must for this family. Previously, the family wanted to spend time together eating, talking and doing homework, but their home did not have the space for all of them to gather at the same time. The addition to the home was done with architectural details that tied in with the decor of the existing home and flowed in such a way that the addition seems to have been part of the original structure.

BRY designMy client wanted to keep a tub, but I had no room for a standard tub, so we gave him a Japanese style tub which he LOVES.
