SV Design
This Gambrel style residence has been completely upgraded to satisfy todays’ standards while restoring and reinforcing the original 1885 design. It began as a Summer Cottage accessible by train from Boston, and is now a year round residence. The essence of the structure was maintained, while enhancing every detail. The breadth of craftsmanship is evident throughout the home resulting in a comfortable and embellished aesthetic.

Arciform
This gracious residence on the National Register of Historic Places created an opportunity to indulge in historically accurate details while creating a sunny space for a family's day-to-day living. The renovation expanded the kitchen into the home's former mud room and butler's pantry, creating an expansive space inspired by french bakery styling and incorporating salvaged historic decorative tile, mahogany cabinets and Carrara marble counter tops alongside restored upper cabinets and a custom butcher block island with zinc-lined flour bins. Meyer & Meyer, Inc. Architecture and Interiors
The unique site, 11 acres on a peninsula with breathtaking views of the ocean, inspired Meyer & Meyer to break the mold of waterside shingle-style homes. The estate is comprised of a main house, guest house, and existing bunker. The design of the main house involves projecting wings that appear to grow out of the hillside and spread outward toward three sides of ocean views. Architecture and landscape merge as exterior stairways and bridges provide connections to a network of paths leading to the beaches at each point. An enduring palette of local stone, salt-washed wood, and purple-green slate reflects the muted and changeable seaside hues. This beach-side retreat offers ever-changing views from windows, terraces, decks, and pathways. Tucked into the design are unexpected touches such as a hideaway wine room and a nautically-inspired crow’s nest.
