“I got to know JY through a friend's recommendation. He is straight to the point and is able to deliver what has been communicated. During our meet up with the other IDs, all they did was throw some of the packages to us but it was different with JY. He sold us off with his explanation and how he can help us to have a house of our own. He is not pushy and finds out our preferences and ideas before coming out with the design, and he totally nailed it with her his proposal! During the renovation, he always keeps us updated through calls, Whatsapp and photos. My working experience with him was excellent. We never felt that we had to chase him for a response. - Great team of professionals His team of contractors and vendors delivered high quality work, which is still pretty much as good as new after 2.5 years. In particular, Paul, his contractor, is such a pleasure to work with, and could always be counted on to rectify any issues. - Innovative space planning He gave us innovative ideas on how to configure and make the best use of our space. This is in contrast to other firms that only gave us one (boring) option. - Fluid design process We weren't pressured to make all our design decisions at the outset. The fluid design process enabled to make decisions even during the construction phase. This was useful as our choices changed when the project started taking shape. - Easy decision process If you like his aesthetic, then you will appreciate that he doesn't inundate you with choices. We liked that he gave us a few choice selections from which we made our final decision. Also, when the options he proposed were out of our budget, he was also able to give us other suggestions that suited our needs. Overall, we highly recommend Shukun and his team. The project did take slightly longer than expected, but the upside is that we had a fairly smooth working relationship with the team, and everything is still as good as new after 2.5 years.”
