Robeson DesignDecorative Iron work, A custom hand forged Iron screen was used as a room divider screen between this sitting room and the adjoining Master Bedroom suite of this luxury Southern California home. Geometric shapes combine to create a subtle yet striking division between the rooms. Gently curved in shape to follow the shape of the room, the screens stand 9' off the hardwood floors allowing the viewer a subtly look from room to room while creating a sense of privacy within the space.
A similar yet different Iron screen was created for the window that looks into the interior courtyard.
When Iron work in a home has traditionally been reserved for Spanish or Tuscan style homes, Interior Designer Rebecca Robeson finds a way to incorporate Iron in a new and fresh way using geometric shapes to transition between rooms. Custom welders followed Rebeccas plans meticulously in order to keep the lines clean and sophisticated for a seamless design element in this home.
All staircases and railings in this home share similar linear lines while window embellishments and room divider screens include softer curves to add grace to the geometric shapes.

Brian BendaThe master bedroom has a coffered ceiling and opens to the master bathroom. There is an attached sitting room on the other side of the free-standing fireplace wall (see other master bedroom pictures). The stunning fireplace wall is tiled from floor to ceiling in penny round tiles. The headboard was purchased from Pottery Barn, and the footstool at the end of the bed was purchased at Restoration Hardware.
Parker Stuckey Residential DesignWhen the homeowners asked for an upstairs sitting room that would do triple duty as a workout room and guest bedroom for the grandchildren, we immediately thought hidden bunk beds. When not in use, the upper bunk folds completely into the wall and hides behind faux cabinet doors. The bottom bunk slides back and functions as a perfect reading nook.
DSI Luxury TechnologyThis Master Bedroom media room features a motorized pop-up TV at the foot of the bed and another video display at the far end of the bedroom by the fireplace. Seamless control of the audio, video, lighting, climate, and security is by a Crestron control system. Speakers are located in the ceiling, the subwoofer in hidden in the wall. This home was featured as the Esquire Design House for 2008 and was designed and built by Xorin Bables of TempleHome.
