New Construction. Our aim for this home was to completely elevate traditional cape cod elements. We used a lot of darker tones on the interior instead of the typical white and light grey that tends to blanket this style of home. Exposed beams and big bifold doors help bring in a local California vibe that stays true to the region. Even though the façade looks very traditional, the interior of the home is contemporary from head to toe. Our design scope included floor plan, exterior detail including the pool cabana, all doors & windows, and reflected ceiling plan (electrical plan), hand-selected finishes, fixtures, plumbing, and hardware. Look for standout elements like the horizontal shiplap leading up the staircase wall, the warm wood tones in the kitchen, the board and batten accent wall in the master bedroom, and the gorgeous use of stone throughout the home in fireplaces, bathrooms, countertops, and floors.
