Highgate Extension
A full refurbishment and extension of a modern home in the Highgate Conservation Area. The design created a new open-plan kitchen, dining and family space opening to the garden, a reconfigured master suite with walk-in dressing room, and an additional bedroom and study on the top floor. A bespoke oak-and-glass staircase brings light into the centre of the home, while a frameless balustrade to the roof terrace frames city views. The project also delivered new windows, insulated render and redesigned gardens. Sensitive detailing secured planning approval, resulting in a bright, contemporary family home with improved circulation, generous living areas and increased value.

Seamless under-stair storage solution with push-to-open doors, shown closed beneath an oak and glass staircase in a modern home.
The exterior features a series of sleek, handleless doors with a push-to-open mechanism, spray-painted to blend perfectly with the surrounding walls. This minimalist approach creates a clean, uncluttered look that complements the modern oak and glass staircase.
Behind the discreet doors lies a beautifully crafted oak interior, offering a warm and surprising contrast. The internal layout has been meticulously tailored to the client's needs, incorporating dedicated shelving for shoes, a handy pull-out drawer for accessories, and taller cupboard space for hanging coats. This bespoke unit is a masterclass in smart, space-saving design, turning a once-neglected area into an invaluable asset for a tidy home.

The ground floor now features an open-plan kitchen, dining, and living area, with a dedicated quiet reading nook for everyday relaxation. Upstairs, the bedrooms were redesigned as serene, functional retreats, while the loft was converted into a flexible living space, maximizing both space and property value.
