Bootroom storage with bench country family home

Habitués aux appartements des années 70-80, Fabienne et Aurélien rêvaient d'un haussmannien et du charme de l'ancien. Parquet point de Hongrie, moulures, cheminée et marbre de carrare, rien n'a été oublié pour redonner une seconde vie à cet appartement parisien délaissé.

The brief from the client was to create a relaxing space where to kick off the shoes after a long day and snuggle down and, at the same time, create a joyful and very colourful and eclectic space to entertain.

We really wanted a wow factor as you first walked into the house. We achieved this by wallpapering each wall in the entrance in a bold geometric wallpaper by Cole & Son, in greay and white. A contemporary look with a nod to the oriental and exotic. An oversized placed over the console added extra depth to the space and made the small foyer seem larger. As a feature light we opted for a more contemporary look and installed a white Monkey Ball pendent to add an element of playfulness.
