Major renovation of an existing inner city house with beach views. Kitchen, bathrooms, laundry and study area. Colour scheme for the house was based on the Statuario marble benches and splashback in the kitchen - white, charcoal and silver. Multi level home with living room looking over the kitchen towards the city on one side and beach in the other direction. Beautifully book-matched stone benchtop in the kitchen with matching splashback behind a stainless steel bench.

This family of five had just down-sized to a new build townhouse and were desperate to add some of their colourful personalities to the all white space.
Early on I established their love for rich jewel colours and embraced this fully in the living room, influenced by their stunning curtains. Encouraging them to colour drench the space they now have a cosy getaway for the evenings and entertaining. Pops of fuscia, blush and brass add contrast while black accents ground the scheme.
The deep teal and blush tones continue in their kitchen, which includes this fun snug area, with oak elements to lighten the scheme and beautiful floor length curtains. Plants feature heavily.
Finally the botanical influences flow through into their hardworking home office, to create a calming atmosphere with paler green tones, oak, sisal and leather.
The family are thrilled with the end result and say the colours in their new home bring them a lot of joy.

This breakfast bar zone pairs sage green cabinetry with warm blackbutt timber flooring and matching stools. Floating timber shelves with under-cabinet lighting add texture against the soft greige splashback tiles. The functional corner setup optimises the window view while integrating versatile hidden appliance storage.

Our Cabarita Project was designed for clients who wanted their waterfront terrace to feel more open, practical and full of personality. Daniel Mazic reworked the layout to introduce a dedicated scullery and create a better connection between the kitchen, laundry and living areas. The result is a lively entertaining space with green joinery, leathered quartzite, fluted timber detailing and black steel framed doors concealing the hardworking spaces behind. A bold kitchen, but one grounded in careful planning.
