Ever wanted your very own castle in the sky? Make your dream a reality by learning from master tree-house builder Brett. The class will take you through identifying suitable tree’s, being aware of the unique challenges of attaching to living tree’s, safety principles and basic tree-house models. As the class will take place in Brett’s own backyard you’ll be able to check out the 3 varieties of tree-house he’s made himself there. Under Brett’s expert eye you’ll get to work as a team on a basic hexagonal platform – giving you practical experience with the tools required. He’ll then assist you in coming up with a sketch of a tree-house of your own, based on the tree you have in mind. This class is ideal for families wanting to plan their own treehouse project. No previous building experience is necessary as basic tool introduction will take place. PLEASE NOTE: Any treehouse construction of your own should comply with standard building codes and Brett and Wild Rumpus are not liable for any construction that is forthcoming. Before participating in this class you will be required to sign a waiver form in regards to any future building of your own.

A private client project at Catton Hall to enable access from the estate across the River Trent to a large island for shooting and family picnics. We designed large multi-deck platforms at each end to allow for a Rope Bridge height across the river required for full planning permission, our consultancy worked closely with the Environment Agency and Planning Authorities with drawings and engineer reports to fully satisfy all requirements.

The uncomfortable steps were remade so they are now in the right places and integral for moving around the garden.
