“We approached `The Minimalist Society` to renovate our 4-room BTO apartment at Macpherson Weave. Their portfolio showcasing very simple & clean interior designs stood out and the "minimalist" concept (i.e. only having the essentials as part of your home decor, each item having a clear purpose) resonated with us. Their website exuded a calm and positive vibe which also contributed to our decision of approaching them. We had a pleasant experience with them from day one. The team assigned to us - Yi Ling, An Xin and Keith - were very approachable and basically guided us through the home renovation journey every step of the way. They were very responsive to all the random queries we had during the renovation journey, especially when most of them came during non-office hours i.e. after 8pm. We even had the luxury of going to Japan for our end of year holiday while they commenced the renovations in December 2025. The renovations were completed in mid-February 2026, but we already slowly moved our things over approaching that day. We were able to transition to our new home very seamlessly as there were almost no issues we found related to the renovation. Tiny issues (eg. very tiny water leak in bathroom sink) were resolved very promptly, within less than a day. The workmanship for our kitchen and bedroom carpentry were excellent and we feel so joyful using them till now. Very highly recommend their services if you are considering a minimalist concept. This review is a small way of me and my wife saying Thank You to `The Minimalist Society` for giving us our beautiful first home which we deeply appreciate and feel very grateful for.”
